CBA Power Rankings (Last Updated: 11/23)
    1. Duke (5-0): Marvin Bagley scored a game-high 24 points in Monday's win over Furman. The freshman forward is averaging a team-high 19.2 points and a team- high 9.0 rebounds in 26.4 minutes per game.
2.Arizona (3-1): DeAndre Ayton has recorded three double-doubles in three games. The freshman forward is averaging 18.7 points and 11.7 rebounds while shooting 60.0 percent from the field.
    3. Kansas (4-0): Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk finished with 21 points on nine field goal attempts in Tuesday's victory over Texas Southern. The senior wing is averaging 20.0 points and 3.8 rebounds in 29.5 minutes per game.
4.Michigan State (2-1): Miles Bridges scored 20 points in 25 minutes in Sunday's win over Stony Brook. The sophomore forward left the game with an ankle sprain.
    5. Wichita State (4-1): The Shockers shot 54.4 percent from the field in Tuesday's win over Marquette. Landry Shamet finished with a team-high 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

NFL Power Rankings (Last Updated: 11/23)
    1. Philadelphia Eagles, 2017 record: 9-1
    Week 11 ranking: No. 1
Triumph: The Eagles have had an OK season. They have the best record, have scored the most points, thrown the most passing touchdowns, have the best red zone efficiency, forced the third-most turnovers, allowed the second-lowest third-down conversion percentage ... you get the point.
    2. New England Patriots, 2017 record: 8-2
    Week 11 ranking: No. 2
Triumph: Remember when the Patriots opened the season 2-2 and were allowing the second-most points per game (32.0)? Well, the defense has made a triumphant return, allowing 12.5 points per game and no more than 17 points in a single game since. The lesson, as always, is to never write off the Patriots.
    3. Pittsburgh Steelers, 2017 record: 8-2
    Week 11 ranking: No. 4
Triumph: The Steelers have held their opponents to 17 or fewer points in five straight games -- all wins. Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown might be the biggest stars in Pittsburgh, but the defense's return to prominence and third overall ranking in the Football Power Index is the biggest triumph for the Steelers this season.
    4. Minnesota Vikings, 2017 record: 8-2
    Week 11 ranking: No. 6
Triumph: Case Keenum has turned this season into a win for the Vikings. He has taken just one sack in his past six games and has posted the league's best Total QBR (94) against the blitz this season. He ranks second in overall QBR this season, behind the injured Deshaun Watson.
    5. New Orleans Saints, 2017 record: 8-2
    Week 11 ranking: No. 3
Triumph: The Saints have won eight straight games on the back of 15 rushing touchdowns in that span. Even if the Saints had failed to come back on Sunday, this season would have been a success. But overcoming a 15-point deficit late in the fourth quarter to beat Washington has turned this year into something special for New Orleans.

CFB Power Rankings (Last Updated: 11/23)
    1. Georgia (10-1): The Dawgs quietly clinched the SEC East. Jake Fromm quietly threw two touchdown passes. South Carolina did not go quietly. I keep waiting for Fromm to have a freshman-required clunker. So far he hasn't followed through.
    2. Alabama (11-0): Time for genuine concern? It was eight games between ranked opponents. When the Tide finally played one, LSU held it 147 yards under its rushing average. If the Tigers had a quarterback, this might have been a different game.
    3. Clemson (10-1): I'm still troubled by Brent Venables' defense lately, but it's hard to argue with four top-20 wins. Thankfully for the Tigers, Tavien Feaster provided the needed margin with an 89-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
    4. Notre Dame (9-2): Wake Forest posted more yards against ND (706) than Oklahoma State did against Oklahoma (660). A surprising shootout with the Deacons ends with Brandon Wimbush throwing for a career-high 280 yards.
    5. Oklahoma (10-1): I'm sorry, but I can't get enough of Mayfield. He threw for a school-record 598 yards. OU needed every yard in a game featuring 1,446 yards in total offense, 62 first downs, 14 touchdowns and five turnovers.

NBA Power Rankings (Last Updated: 11/23)
    1. Celtics (16-2, LW 1): Welcome to the season of Al Horford appreciation. He’s a four-time All-Star who once made an All-NBA team (2011), but he still might be the most underappreciated star in the league. At least until this season. He’s not flashy, but he does everything well — there are no serious holes in his game. That is showing this season as he anchors the Celtics’ league-best defense plus gives them almost 15 points and 9 boards a night. He is at the heart of the reason the Celtics have won 16 in a row and beat the Warriors.
    2. Warriors (13-4 LW 2): This season the Warriors are taking 31.4 percent of their shots at the rim, once you exclude garbage time (as is done by Ben Falk at Cleaning The Glass). Last season that was 36 percent. Last season the team free throw rate was 20.6 (FTA per 100), this season that is down to 19.6. The Warriors still have the best offense in the NBA, but to Charles Barkely’s dismay (if he paid attention to stats) they are even more of a jump shooting team.
    3. Rockets (13-4, LW 3): Chris Paul has only been back two games, but he’s averaged 14 points and 8 assists, while shooting 6-of-11 from three in the two wins (against the Suns and injured Grizzlies). Houston is entering a soft part of the schedule, including having 11-of-14 at home, look for CP3 (and James Harden) to put up impressive numbers for a few weeks.
    4. Spurs (11-6, LW 5): The 23-point comeback win against the Thunder shows the grit and resilience of a team still without Kyrie Irving (and who knows when he returns). Their five-man starting lineup — LaMarcus Aldridge, Pau Gasol, Kyle Anderson, Danny Green, and Patty Mills — outscores teams by 6.7 points per 100 minutes and is key to their success.
    5. Raptors (11-5, LW 7): The Raptors have been flying under the radar to start the season, but their net rating is better than the Wizards’ team everyone thought could be the team that challenges Cleveland/Boston at the end of the season. Toronto has adapted well to its new move-the-ball offense (most of the time), and is scoring at a more efficient clip than a season ago already.
