The 2007 college football is over with a convincing win over Ohio State. Clearly the SEC was the best conference in college football this year. For all of us football lovers we are left with seven NFL football games that, on paper, should be as exciting as they could be.
For all of us football lovers, we are left with one NFL football games, the biggest one of all, that should be, at least on paper, as exciting as it can be. Superbowl XLII between the 18-0 New England Patriots and the amazing NY Giants is just a few days away. It will be a classic, that is for sure, with either New England being the first team to ever go 19-0 in a season or with the NY Giants spoiling The Pats' party. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:20pm at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
In the NBA we are seeing a lot of strong candidates for the NBA Finals. In the East Boston and Detroit appear to be extremly strong and Orlando is a distant third. Keep your eyes on Charlotte. The rest of teams are average, and at this point, it is anyone's guess which teams will complete the eight playoff spots. In the West the situation is similar with a twist. With the exception of Seattle, Minnesota, LA Clippers and Memphis, everyone can make the playoffs, not because the conference is weak, but because all the teams are too strong. There is so much going on in the world on sports that if there is any time that you can use solid, winning advice, NOW is that time! Too many opportunities can present themselves during the week and you need some good help to point you the right way.
College basketball is now on a an every day schedule and conference play, the best part of the college basketball schedule is here! We have seen some really good basketball so far for some traditional power houses and also the "smaller" schools. North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas, UCLA appear to have the lead (for now) for a number one seed. Michigan State, Tennessee, Texas and Washington State are right behind them. It is schools schools like, Drake, Butler, Mississippi, Providence, St. Mary's and Clemson that are promising a fun and enjoyable season.
With anywhere from 30 - 100 games daily on the board, if there is a time that you can use some solid advice and some strong selections, NOW IS THAT TIME.
